Senior Pastor
Dr. Chester C. Pipkin, Jr.
Since 1974, Senior Pastor and founder of ReJOYce in Jesus Ministries, Inc., Dr. Chester C. Pipkin Jr. has been inspiring generations to have an intimate relationship with the Lord. He emphasizes the need for believers to stay strong in prayer, study God’s Word, and exercise their authority in Christ by faith, so that the character of Jesus is demonstrated in their lives.
In the midst of a successful career in the entertainment industry, the Lord called Pastor Pipkin into ministry. He was ordained while attending Pepperdine University, and founded RJM soon after. As he has continued to follow the leading and direction of the Holy Spirit, the ministry has grown to include outreaches across the country, and a television ministry that reaches around the world. His hometown of Los Angeles is the base of ministry operations, and where he makes his home, along with his wife and family.
Assistant Pastor
Dr. Vondalier Pipkin
Dr. Vondalier Pipkin ministers alongside her husband at the RJM home church in Los Angeles, as well as other RJM outreaches and their Time in the Word television program. Her vibrant style of ministry combines humor with practical life application.
Vonda has worn many hats in over 40 years of full-time ministry, including overseeing women’s ministries, children’s and teen’s ministries, young adults, and drama. She is also the director of ReJOYce in Jesus Christian School. Originally from Virginia, she attended Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, where she continues to live and minister today, along with her husband and family.
