About Us

ReJOYce IN JESUS Ministries is a Los Angeles based, non-profit Christian organization that began in 1974 as a student campus group at Pepperdine University in Los Angeles, California. Under the direction of Pastor Chester C. Pipkin, Jr., the ministry has grown considerably since then, and today is a thriving organization with campus outreaches across the nation and two churches.

Since 1974, Senior Pastor and founder of ReJOYce in Jesus Ministries, Inc., Dr. Chester C. Pipkin Jr. has been inspiring generations to have an intimate relationship with the Lord. He emphasizes the need for believers to stay strong in prayer, study God’s Word, and exercise their authority in Christ by faith, so that the character of Jesus is demonstrated in their lives. Dr. Vondalier Pipkin ministers alongside her husband at the RJM home church in Los Angeles, as well as other RJM outreaches and their Time in the Word television program. Her vibrant style of ministry combines humor with practical life application. Read More >

Our Mission

ReJOYce focus

ReJOYce in Jesus Ministries is a multi-generational church with a three-fold emphasis:
1. Indigenous (home) missionary training and ministry operations.
2. Evangelistic outreaches (both national and international).
3. Strong Bible-based teaching churches with an added emphasis on I Pet 2:2.
Through our college campus outreaches we seek to:
LEAD and inspire all who are willing to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. INSPIRE young adults to become contributing members of society and representatives of the Kingdom of God. HELP develop strong character and high moral values and spiritual wisdom. ENCOURAGE young people, especially students, to pursue academic excellence and maturity.
These objectives are being achieved through numerous educational, religious, and community service programs.
